In January 2016 we are relocating Casamia from Wesbtury-on-Trym to The General, Lower Guiena Street, Bristol BS16SY. Our last service at Westbury-on-Trym will be on the evening on Wednesday 23rd December. We are then reopen at our new home on Friday 15th January.
As a family, we’ve been discussing Casamia’s future for a long time, wanting to find a place where the physical restaurant reflects the creativity and refinement we work so hard to achieve with our food. For the last few years we have been searching for a new home for Casamia, which can embody our seasonal concept and celebrates the South West. The trattoria opened by our parents over 15 years ago has undergone quite a few changes, but we feel to really continue Casamia’s new direction, we need a fresh start.
So, we are thrilled to be able to tell you that we’ve found our new home, the place where Casamia’s next chapter will begin. We are proud Bristol boys, so we obviously saw no need to look any further than the BS postcode. We have chosen to open Casamia on 15th January 2016 at the iconic and beautifully restored General Hospital (BS1).
Casamia, after all translates as “my house”, so it is so important to us to keep that homely feeling we have in our Westbury restaurant. But, at the same time, we are obsessed with improving your, our guests’, experience with us, so we are refining all elements.
Although we will be sad to say goodbye to such a memorable place, we can’t wait to open the doors and welcome you to our new home next year.
