Autumn: Changes at Casamia
Over the past months my team and I have been working on Casamia’s Autumn menu and I am excited to share our next chapter with you. We are making some changes from 14th September 2016 which I wanted to update you on below.
Firstly, we are no longer opening for weekday lunches anymore. I am pushing the team harder than I ever have before with the Autumn menu. With this in mind, we need extra preparation time to ensure every element of every dish has the dedication it deserves and so ultimately we are able to give every guest the best menu we can. So, to be clear, we will be open for lunch on Saturday only, and dinner Wednesday – Saturday.
Secondly, we have decided to remove relay tables, inviting all of our diners to join us in one sitting from 6:30pm – 8:15pm. It is really important to me that all our guests feel special, relaxed and have the freedom to enjoy their time at Casamia how they would like.
Finally, the cost of our menu has increased. We will now be charging one price, £98, for lunch and dinner. In short, I want to create the best overall experience for you and in order to do so I need to work with the best chefs, independent suppliers and exciting ingredients, whilst having the time to perfect every aspect. I don’t want to bang on about the challenges independent restaurants face in the hospitality industry (although I’m very happy to chat to anyone who’d like to) but want you to know that despite us holding off from altering our prices over the past few years it has now become necessary. I am confident that the price reflects what we will be offering and I can’t put into words how excited I am for you to join us in Autumn.
With every step I take in my development process I always revert back to our name Casamia – my house – to keep this in the forefront of my mind. I want to create the best experience for all our guests, when they step into my house, and will continue to strive to do this.
